Migration Policy:	This is an estimation of how many days you wish to keep unmodified data on your higher performance Tier 1 storage before moving it to more sustainable Tier 2 storage. You may also adjust this on the results page.


Tier 1 Storage: *** Tier 1 storage is usually comprised of faster low capacity disks. Often SAS or fibrechannel disks are used for Tier 1.	Choose from the common disks in the list or use this button to add custom disk devices.

RAID Configuration:	RAID 0 RAID 5 RAID 6 RAID 10 RAID (Redundant Array of Independant Disks) is used to protect data against disk failure and also to improve performance. RAID 0 provides better performance for no additional cost but does not protect against failure. RAID 5 uses one additional (parity) disk to protect the data in the RAID array against disk failure. RAID 6 uses two additional (parity) disks to protect the data in the RAID array against disk failure. RAID 10 matches each data disk with an additional disk to protect the data in the RAID array against disk failure and provide better performance.

Data Disks:	(disks) This is the number of disks per RAID array which contain actual user data (rather than extra copies or parity information). Commonly either 4 or 8 data disks are used so that a block of data can fit efficiently across the disks.
